Empowering Individuals Affected by Eating Disorders

Lead by a team of eating disorder specialists, Food for Thought is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Our therapy sessions are designed to offer a safe space for communication, healing, and growth. We believe in the power of recovery and resilience, and our goal is to support each individual and family member in their journey towards emotional well-being and understanding.

About Us

With extensive backgrounds in residential eating disorder treatment, Lauren Sweezey and Brittany Bacarella are seasoned Licensed Mental Health Counselors who are passionate about supporting individuals and families on their journey to recovery. Having worked for many years in residential treatment centers and private practice, they bring a wealth of experience in treating eating disorders with compassion and evidence-based practices.

As Co-Founders of Food for Thought, Lauren and Brittany are committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and rebuild their relationship with food and their bodies. They lead a collaborative team of licensed therapists and dietitians, offering personalized, comprehensive care that addresses every aspect of recovery. Through this integrated approach, Lauren, Brittany and their team empower clients with the tools, resources, and emotional support needed to achieve lasting recovery. Their mission is to make effective, compassionate treatment accessible to everyone who seeks it.
